I'm going to Hawaii!

I'll get to write about some brand new cities after my December trip to Hawaii

With tickets in hand, I can safely say, I'm going to Hawaii! I'll be there for a week this coming December and I probably won't have time outside the winter solstice event I'm attending to see too much of O'ahu, but hey, I'm not complaining.

I'm pretty sure that by then, the weather and scenery that I will see will be different enough from my usual Seattle digs that I'll feel that I've gone to a foreign country, even though I'll still be in the US. Of course, one of the things I now have to research is what to do when a natural disaster hits while you are away from home, as they've just had a pretty big earthquake there.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must do a dance of celebration!
