Seattle has a special connection with Alaska, it is often called the largest port of Alaska. After living in Southeat Alaska for many years, I got to know my way around the city. Mosy people in Southeast will travel to Seattle rather than Anchorage.

heehee, the largest port. i like that. Esp since I live in seattle. Still have not been to alaska yet and I suspect when i go it will be via cruise. I know you hate those, Alan, but it seems like it's the best way to see the scenery. happy
