The Utah ski resorts offer a range of accomodations from fine dining to bring your own picnic lunch. Check with your destination resort, some cater to skiers others to boarders. In town the attractions range from a night at the symphony, a walk through Temple Square to view the lights, a Jazz game, college (UofU or BYU) sports or a day at the Family History Library to trace your roots. Locals like to drive their personal vehicles but TRAX (mass transit), though still in the growing stages, provides a way to avoid some of the downtown congestion. People are friendly, service is good and the city is clean and relatively safe.
