Here's the spot where Urban Travel's American readers - or frequent visitors to the US - can join in. Do you have any great travel tips about American cities - maybe you know the best parking spaces in Central Chicago, advice for dealing with the public transport system in Atlanta or know the tourist traps to avoid in Philadelphia?
If so - post them here, and together we can turn this discussion into an insiders guide to the best and worst of US cities. So, whether it's the best budget accommodation in San Francisco, the hippest bars and restaurants in New York, unusual museums in Washington or cool local hangouts in Seattle - here's the place to let the world know.

- Fun in Seattle
Hello,
Seattle is my favorite big city of the Northwest! Make sure to check out quirky Broadway Street, for fun shopping, culture, music and a touch of the odd. The Broadway Street District is just a few blocks up the hill from Pikes Market and the Space Needle. Make sure not to miss this fun, yet sometimes weird neighborhood of Seattle. Perhaps it's just what you need to liven up your Washington adventure!
I would suggest taking the bus system around Seattle or walking, as parking is hard to find or expensive.
